Arrivederci ALD was founded on the notion that hope without action is ineffective. ALD is a genetic disease that affects approximately 1 in 17,000 people.  It has no cure, and treatment options are limited.  Our mission is straightforward - identify and fund scientific and medical research that will lead to more effective treatments and a cure for ALD and its most prevalent phenotype, AMN.  In support of this, Arrivederci ALD also engages in advocacy and awareness efforts to support individuals and families across the country suffering from this disease.
